Small-Batch Commercial-Ready Services
With our Small-Batch Commercial-Ready Services, you gain access to our three pilot plant facilities for our Commercial-Scale Validation and Custom Small-Batch Production services. Our pilot plant systems use the same type of equipment that would be used in commercial production, but on a smaller scale. We have 100-, 450- and 700-gallon systems that are ideal for scale-up validating formulations, producing smaller volumes of product or accommodating custom packaging larger tollers are reluctant to produce.
Commercial-Scale Validation Service
Formulation development doesn’t end on the lab bench or after analytical testing and stability data provide desired results. Taking your promising idea from formulation to commercial-ready product involves our Commercial-Scale Validation service. During this phase of development, we run your formulation through our pilot plant production using adequate test volumes (at least 100 gallons) to simulate a commercial batch so we can uncover any process or quality issues. We then work with you to correct them before large quantities of product are put at risk in a commercial production environment, which would create financial and operational risk.
Incorporating our Commercial-Scale Validation service into your product commercialization plans enables you to:

Custom Small-Batch Production Service
When you need small volumes for testing or initial launch, you can tap into our Custom Small-Batch Production service. You can also use our three pilot plant systems to help bridge capacity constraints at your facilities or fill unanticipated demand. In addition, our facilities can accommodate specialized packaging needs that some larger manufacturers are less inclined to produce.
